Charming and exclusive, this pouch is a fun and eco-friendly work of art.
“We sometimes attempt to make something with only a general idea, saying, ‘I want you to make it with your sense’. Sometimes there’s a good twist and the finished product, like this one, is done well. We asked a sewing factory that specializes in traditional Indian clothing, saris, women’s accessories, and home decorations such as tassels. They are skilled at sewing with glittering materials unique to India, such as jingling stones and beads, sparkling sequins and embroidery, like those seen in Indian movies. For this series of pouches, we only came up with the base design, and left the color scheme and material combination methods up to them. The hand stitching, which has a tasteful finish that can never be produced by a machine, is also nice.”

PUEBCO was born in Japan 2007 with the simple notion of creating things instinctively, using found and recycled materials to curate renewed lifestyle items. PUEBCO believes that just as people are the sum of their lived experiences, the objects we share our homes with should carry that same sense of history and weight. By using recycled materials and hand made processes, PUEBCO imbues these objects with the feel of many lifetimes and a sense of history that makes each piece unique. With PUEBCO products, there are no imperfections but details meant by design.
